Zathina Musette (Born Zathina Chalahko) was born and raised by her parents. Her mother is a soft spoken Keeper of the Moon whose family migrated to Gridania after The Fifth Umbral Calamity. Her father is a loud, outspoken Seeker of the Sun whose family migrated to Limsa Lominsa.Zathina grew up in Gridania, helping her family with their farming business. They were the main providers of crops within the city -her mother holding one of the main positions in the botanist guild to this day.They led a simple life, usually keeping to themselves and building upon their humble home. During the summers, Zathina's family would vacation in Costa del Sol with her grandparents. They were well known in Limsa for providing the freshest crops to The Bismarck and made a name for themselves in the Culinary world.

Due to Miqo'te's natural keen sense of smell, Zathina was always interested in cooking. She and her father would play a fun "game" where she would guess ingredients in a dish solely based on smell. One day, they were playing this "game" whilst on vacation. A wonderful meal at The Bismarck made specifically by the main chef himself. He saw Zathina name every single ingredient and spice the moment he set the plate down and was ecstatic to hear of such skill. He immediately offered a mentorship and from then on, Zathina spent her summers working under his wing. Her skills now are nothing short of a Master, having practiced for the last 15 years.Her want to expand her knowledge of her craft led her far and wide - leaving no stone unturned. Once, when traveling through the Far East, she encountered a wanderer in the bustling streets of Kugane. He showed her his world of infusing his healing magic into his food, and she was absolutely sold on the idea. She spent 5 years being mentored by him in a small apartment in Shirogane.

PRESENT DAY

Present day, Zathina spends her free time as a Master Chef and traveling Healer. She found a family within the wild streets of Limsa, and eventually purchased an apartment in Shirogane.
She lives happily married to her husband, Percival Musette. The pair reside in the Lavender Beds, not too far from her parents' place. She is kept busy throughout the day leading her FC (Sweet Creatures) through adventures, dungeons, and raids, ensuring that they have sufficient healing to keep them going.
During the late hours, you can be sure to find her at a local cafe, bathhouse, or dancing the night away at a club! She currently owns and runs two separate venues - ask about them!
